Dear Cherry Hill Parents,
Welcome to Cherry Hill Elementary! I hope you have had a wonderful summer break. The beginning of a new school year is always exciting! We have several new staff members, new students and new experiences waiting for us. I have very high expectations for the 2015-2016 school year! It is Cherry Hill’s 50th Anniversary this year! We have many fun and exciting events planned for the students and community to celebrate and commemorate the 50th Birthday of our incredible school! We will keep you posted as to the events and dates as they come! There are a few dates I want you to be aware of. We will be having our Back-toSchool open house on August 18th, from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. This will be a good opportunity to come meet your child’s teacher, find classroom locations, and have questions answered. Please plan on joining us! School begins on August 19th for grades 1-6. Kindergarten and preschool will begin on August 26th. We will be having a Back-to-School Night with our first celebration party of our 50th birthday on August 27th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. We will have a general kick-off meeting at 5:00 p.m. in the gym and then break out for presentations in the classroom that the teachers have prepared. We hope to see you all there!! Our goal at Cherry Hill is to provide your child with a well-rounded educational experience. Our expectations for student success are that all can learn and move forward. We are here to help insure that this becomes a reality for the students that we have been entrusted to care for. Our Mission is, “At Cherry Hill Elementary we DREAM BIG, and find SUCCESS in each one of us, some way, every day.” Our teachers and staff work diligently to help our school recognize each student’s potential, reach for their dreams, and find success every single day. We have amazing things happening at our school each and every day. This is a school where ALL students can succeed and realize their dreams! I welcome you to come to my office and share concerns and celebrations. Together we can work to accomplish what is best for children. I love working with our students! Thank you for sharing their lives with me!
